Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce Recipe
This recipe is very easy to make and will only take about twenty minutes to prepare and cook.
Ingredients that you will need are: three cups of milk, three cups of heavy cream, one cup of grated imported Parmesan cheese, one cup of grated imported Romano cheese, about twelve large egg yolks and salt and pepper.
In a sauce pan, combine milk and cream; stir until the mixture starts to bubble and then turn off the heat. Gradually mix in the cheese, whip until thoroughly blended and then remove the pan from the stove.
Put the egg yolks in a mixing bowl and gradually add just a little amount of the cream mixture. Whip until thoroughly blended and then gradually pour this mixture into the sauce pan with the cream sauce.
Place the sauce pan back into the stove and turn on low heat. Keep stirring slowly until the whole mixture starts to bubble. Turn off stove and take out the pan from the heat. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
Add in salt and pepper to taste. Pour the sauce on your preferred pasta and then serve. This recipe is good for eight servings.
If you wish to make this recipe good for four servings only, simply divide the measurements of your ingredients by two. So instead of using three cups of milk and heavy cream, use only one and one-half cups and instead of twelve fresh egg yolks, use only six.
